I'm hiding in the garden today.

Well. This happened: Repeal of fortune-telling ban passes first reading at Parkersburg City Council

And this: Federal judge in Dakota Access Pipeline case says he wants to 'absorb both sides of argument' before ruling

My thoughts and prayers to Standing Rock and all the water-protectors. Stay strong.

This morning, I read this: Dakota Access Pipeline Environmental Assessment Failed to List Endangered Butterfly

So I looked up the Poweshiek Skipperling (Oarisma poweshiek) and found this from the US Fish and Wildlife Services and this from Butterflies and Moths of North America.

And all of this made me think about A Sound Of Thunder by Ray Bradbury (I re-read the short story, earlier this year).

I've read about this: Mylan’s EpiPen Price Increases Highlight Its Grip on Market. And this: CEO at center of EpiPen price hike controversy is Sen. Joe Manchin’s daughter. Blech.

I'm going out into the garden to play, before the dark clouds overhead decide to break. Putting in some rhododendrons and trying to decide where to plant two Black Diamond Crape Myrtles. Taking camera, may have photos later.
