Endometriosis Awareness Month

I'm lifting this straight from a post by the Endometriosis Research Center on their Facebook page:
Many years ago, we worked with Congress to pass formal legislation officially recognizing March as Endometriosis Awareness Month. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the late Mary Prenger, several volunteers, and former US Rep McKeon, HConRes291 was unanimously passed. Individual state proclamations soon followed, including UT, NY, CO, FL, MI, CA, PA and WY. This week our WA group, led by Jen Gumas, will be meeting with many legislators there regarding the disease as well. Let's all wish them luck as we kick off another Endometriosis Awareness Month, and remember - this is a time for unity. We are all focused on the same goals, and we’ll reach them much more quickly by working together. Let us know how we can help YOU.
You can view H. Con. Res. 291 online. To learn more about endometriosis, peruse the educational library from the Center for Endometriosis Care.

And don't forget to take the Endo Challenge!
